Round Rock’s actually named after a rock, a low water crossing on Brushy Creek that wagons and cattle used to ford back in the 1850s. Somehow that little crossing turned into Dell’s international headquarters and one of the biggest suburbs in the state, over 130,000 people now. The growth is everywhere, from University Blvd to Dell Diamond, but there’s still many old, historic buildings still standing.
The round rock. I had to go see it, it does indeed exist.

I’ll tell you want I think and push back when something isn’t going to work, or might be a bad idea. I’ll make decisions you didn’t even know needed to be made. The integrations and the tech, that’s my problem to solve and yours to just enjoy.

A Little Round Rock History
Round Rock got its name from an actual rock, a low crossing point in Brushy Creek that wagons, horses, and cattle used to ford back in the 1850s. The town was officially renamed for it in 1854. It stayed a small cotton-farming community for most of its history, then Dell moved its headquarters here, and the growth never really stopped. Round Rock’s now the 28th-largest city in Texas, over 130,000 people, with the Round Rock Express playing Triple-A ball at Dell Diamond and Round Rock Donuts still slinging the same recipe since 1926 (and they are sooo good!).
